AI assistant
AI assistant
Three AI assistants are built into the platform: documentation questions, crash diagnostics, and log analysis. They all work on demand: nothing runs without your click.
Asking the documentation a question
In the documentation, open search (Ctrl+K / ⌘K), type your question in natural language, and choose "Ask AI":
"How do I connect my OVH domain to my service?"
The assistant answers from the documentation and cites its sources: a link to each page used. If it doesn't know, it says so and points you to a support ticket.
Diagnosing a crash
When a service crashes (restart loops, image not found...), the service's error banner offers "Diagnose with AI". The assistant examines:
- the container state (reason, exit code, restarts);
- recent cluster events;
- the latest log lines;
and produces a clear explanation in plain language and a fix suggestion. The classic diagnostic (exit code, reason) remains displayed in all cases.
Analyzing logs
In a service's Logs tab, the "Analyze with AI" button reads the last few hundred lines and extracts:
- a summary of the errors and warnings present;
- the probable cause of the observed problem, or an indication that no obvious problem appears.
Useful when a service misbehaves without crashing: the cause is often in the logs, and AI finds it faster.
Good to know
- Metered usage: these functions are rate-limited (a few calls per few-minute window). If you hit the limit, wait a moment.
- AI can be wrong: its answers are leads to verify before applying a fix in production.
- None of these functions change your services: they read and explain, and you start any action yourself.
