Frequently Asked Questions
Deployment
My build fails, how do I know why?
Open the service's Deployments tab: the full build logs are kept there. The most frequent causes are a missing dependency (incomplete package.json, requirements.txt), a memory overflow during the build, or a misconfigured port.
My service keeps restarting in a loop? This behavior (often called CrashLoopBackOff) means the application crashes right after starting. Check in order: the logs for the exact error, the presence of all required environment variables, then the start command.
Next.js error related to output: standalone?
If your config enables this mode, the next start command no longer works. Replace it with node .next/standalone/server.js in the service Settings (details in Next.js).
Domains
My custom domain shows an old version of the site?
Clear your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+R). If the problem persists, check DNS propagation with dnschecker.org (new window).
The SSL certificate isn't generating? Confirm that DNS points correctly to the IP provided by Webgune, disable the Cloudflare proxy if you use one, and allow up to 24 hours for propagation (see SSL certificates).
Databases
Can't connect from outside? The internal URL only works from pods in the same project. Enable Expose publicly in the Database tab to get a URL accessible from outside.
The internal URL fails in my code? It is only reachable from inside the cluster, so it is unusable from your local machine: only the public URL works there.
GitHub
My organization's repositories don't appear in the list? When connecting GitHub, you must click Grant next to the relevant organization. If this step was missed: Settings → disconnect GitHub → reconnect, approving the organization this time.
