Deploying a Docker image
Updated on October 27, 2026
Deploy a Docker image
If your application is already packaged, skip the build step: deploy the image directly.
Steps
- + New service → Docker image.
- Enter the image, with its tag (
nginx:latest,ghcr.io/mon-org/mon-app:v1…). - Enter the port exposed by the container.
- Click Create.
The container starts within seconds and immediately receives a nom-service.webgune.dev subdomain with SSL active.
A few useful images to get started
nginx:alpine static web server
caddy:alpine reverse proxy with automatic HTTPS
adminer:latest database administration interface
louislam/uptime-kuma uptime monitoring
n8n/n8n workflow automation
gitea/gitea self-hosted Git forge
Private images
For an image hosted on a private registry, two options:
- pass the registry credentials via environment variables if your build tool supports them;
- ask support to create a dedicated Kubernetes image secret (
imagePullSecret) for your service.
Updating the image
Open the service's Settings, change the image tag, then click Restart. The pod is recreated with the new version. No rebuild is needed, since the image already exists on the registry.
