Introduction to Webgune
Webgune hosts your applications, bots, and databases on a managed Kubernetes infrastructure, without you having to touch Kubernetes. You push code or choose an image, and the platform handles the build, networking, SSL, and monitoring.
What the platform does for you
- Automatic build from GitHub: a push triggers a new deployment, with no CI configuration to write.
- Docker image deployment: any public or private image, ready in seconds.
- Managed databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, provisioned from the dashboard, with persistent storage.
- Domains and SSL: a free subdomain, active right away, or your own domain with an automatically renewed certificate.
- Observability: live logs and CPU/memory metrics for each service.
How it's built
Each account has one or more projects, each isolated in its own Kubernetes namespace. Inside a project, you add services: a web application, a database, or a custom container. Traefik is the reverse proxy and handles routing; ZeroSSL certificates are issued and renewed by a dedicated cluster component.
