Real-time collaboration

Real-Time Collaboration
A project's canvas is a live shared space: when several members open it at the same time, each one sees the others working.
What's synced live
- Cursors of teammates present on the canvas, identified by their name.
- Actions: creating or deleting a service, restarting, deploying. The event appears for all participants as it happens.
- Canvas organization: moving cards, links between services, folders.
- Service status: status badges (build in progress, online, crashed) are the same for everyone, live.
There's nothing to enable: open the same project as two people, and presence is automatic.
Why it's useful
- Pair debugging: one reads the logs while the other redeploys: each sees what the other is doing, with no screen sharing.
- Onboarding: show a new member the project's architecture by moving the cards in front of them.
- Coordination: a deployment started by a colleague is visible instantly, which prevents accidental simultaneous double deployments.
Permissions
Live presence respects roles: a viewer sees everything happen but can't trigger anything; organizing the canvas requires the developer role or higher.
Real-time collaboration relies on a WebSocket connection established with your browser session. If cursors don't appear, check that no extension is blocking WebSockets.
